Substance Abuse & Addiction Treatment Services
Substance Abuse & Addiction Assessments
Substance Abuse Assessments are completed to determine what level and type of substance abuse treatment, if any, is necessary. If treatment is determined to be necessary, the therapist will work with you to establish an appropriate treatment modality and recovery regimen.
We offer Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient, and Aftercare/Education levels of group care. The duration of time in group therapy sessions varies between individuals based on their assessed level of need. Both daytime and evening groups are available.
Treatment is provided in four levels:
Level I - Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program (IOT) - meets for three-hour sessions three times per week for 10-12 weeks.
Level II - Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)- meets for two-hours three times per week for 10-15 weeks.
Level III - Outpatient Program (OP) - meets for two-hours two times per week for 10-15 weeks.
Level IV - Aftercare / Education - meets for two-hours one time per week for 10-20 weeks.

Therapy & Counseling Support for Patients Receiving Opioid-Replacement Therapy (ORT).
Medicines such as Suboxone and Vivitrol are prescribed by physicians to assist with the withdrawal symptoms experienced when stopping the use of opiates (hydrocodone, oxycontin, heroin, etc.) Suboxone can be dispensed for take-home use, just like any other medicine for other medical conditions. Vivitrol is typically administered by the physician via injection. Our agency has arrangements with Physicians in the community who offer ORT. Group or individual therapy is offered to patients receiving ORT in an effort to provide them with the support they need in addition to their medication maintenance. Medicines are not prescribed at Life Recovery Center. We provide counseling for patients receiving OTP from medical doctors off-site. If you need help finding a doctor to prescribe suboxone, we are happy to assist you in locating one. If you are interested in using insurance to pay for sessions, please complete this form before calling to make your initial appointment.

"Without counsel, purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counselors they are established" (Proverbs 15:22).
Christian counseling is the process in which a professional counselor uses the tools of the mental health profession, the truths of the Bible, and the wisdom of life experience to help those in need. Though Life Recovery Center is a secular organization, Dr. Eric Davis will offer Christian counseling upon client request. Dr. Davis offers Christian Counseling in individual sessions only. Individuals interested in Christian counseling for addiction may also be interested in his book, The Bible and Recovery: Biblical Aspects of the Twelve Steps and Other Recovery Principles. Women's Addiction & Trauma Group
The Women's Program at Life Recovery Center is designed for women caught in the grips of addiction and trauma. It is a place where emotional, psychological, spiritual, and physical safety is paramount. We have developed a truly integral psychological and spiritual approach to treating the disease of chemical dependency. Our Women’s Program addresses the needs of the whole person; body, mind, and spirit. Our program is designed to address, heal, and give coping skills to women. Our staff understands that women have special needs in treatment settings. We address these needs by creating a safe place where women are allowed to explore who they truly are without the distraction of a co-ed environment.
We act as a liaison between companies and employees, providing services as needed to both. Many times, employers will mandate that an employee seek help to keep their job. With your permission, we can communicate your progress to your employer and advocate on your behalf.
Specific questions about our substance abuse services should be directed to Co-Executive Director, Dr. Eric Davis.
