Each year, Life Recovery Center hosts a handful of student interns from both local and national colleges and universities. These are students working on degrees in human service and counseling fields such as social work, psychology, addiction counseling, and clinical counseling. As part of their educational experience and training, student interns spend a certain number of hours in the workplace observing, shadowing and facilitating with our clinical staff to gain clinical experience. We also host individuals obtaining hours for licensure and certification.
We are extremely honored to have been named "Outstanding Community Partner of 2016" by the Phylis Lan Lin Department of Social Work at the University of Indianapolis for our work with their students.

If you are a student interested in completing a practicum/internship at Life Recovery Center, please follow these steps:
1. Consult with your school faculty field liaison about placement at Life Recovery Center.
2. Please e-mail a completed employment application and a copy of your student resume' to Co-Executive Director, Dr. Eric Davis .
3. If you are eligible for placement based on your resume', you will be contacted.
4. Once contacted and given permission to move forward in the process of applying for placement with LRC, you may call the office at 317.887.3290 x0 to schedule an interview with Dr. Eric Davis.
We accept students at both the bachelors and masters levels.
